  1. ‘By about 2010 it was generally agreed that anyone with English as a primary language with a PC and internet can blog’?
Why so? I’ve been writing opinions in local newspapers since early 1950 and I have been bloggin actively since 2004 producing thousands and thousands of posts and cumulated millions of ‘hits’ in my native language: Norwegian!
And as far as I can tell, there are a multitude of blogs around the world in just about any language on the planet!
However, many people starting a blog is underestimating the work involved, thus most of them are gone within 3-4 years of starting up.
Today I’m operating a dual language blog (Norwegian/English) based on ‘full screen pictures’ from Norway. It’s taken me 3-4 years of systematic work, but today I have published nearly 5500 pictures and count my readers in more than 150 countries around the world.
However, it’s still a hobby! And a nice hobby at that!

By the way, thank you for subscribing to it! 🙂
